Investigator-Initiated Studies Program
About the Program
The Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) Program of McNeil Consumer Healthcare aims to advance scientific knowledge concerning McNeil's products and the ailments they treat. The program provides a systematic approach to receiving, reviewing, and funding research proposals from independent investigators for the purpose of evaluating McNeil Consumer Healthcare compounds in areas of mutual scientific interest. Through a standardized process, investigators submit their research proposals for consideration of McNeil Consumer Healthcare funding and/or study supplies. Proposals acceptable for review by the IIS Program include studies in humans, animals, and in vitro work.
Application Instructions
In order for your grant request proposal to be considered, the following items must be submitted:
- An Agreement for Submission of Idea
- A signed and dated curriculum vitae, including description of prior research in the therapeutic area addressed in the proposed study
- A completed Proposal Template Form
- A completed appropriate IIS Milestone document: IIS Milestones for Prospective Studies in Human Subjects; IIS Milestones for Retrospective Analyses; IIS Milestones for Prospective Studies Conducted in Animals
